Collaboration agreement between UABC and ISEP

On September 19, 2017, the signing ceremony of the Academic Collaboration Agreement was held between the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), partner of the To-Inn project, the State Normal Schools of Baja California and the Institute of Services Educational and Pedagogical (ISEP). The event took place in the facilities of the Benemérita State Normal School Professor Jesús Prado Luna in the city of Ensenada, Baja California.

The purpose of this agreement is to strengthen the training of future teachers of basic education. Among the actions established are: student mobility; participation in elective courses; postgraduate programs, diploma courses and workshops; updating and continuing education of teaching staff; collaboration in joint investigations; intervention in seminars, conferences, educational symposia, as well as participation in international projects of academic exchange, research and diverse collaboration.

In the area of international research projects, the To-Inn project was included as a central action, which is currently being developed by the Institute for Educational Research and Development (IIDE) of the Autonomous University of Baja California and the University of Barcelona, together with 20 other international partners. In this project, the UABC IIDE has invited the Meritorious State Normal School Professor Jesús Prado Luna as TWIN institution . The TWIN method is that each of the universities involved in the To-Inn project commits to select at least one other institution (from their own country or from another neighbor) to share experiences, training and partial and total results. of the same. This allows a network dissemination and exploitation, and that the project itself be enriched with new contributions.

The event was attended by Dr. Juan Manuel Ocegueda Hernández, Rector of the UABC; Dr. Blanca Rosa García Rivera, Vice-Rector of the UABC Campus Ensenada; the Master Miguel Ángel Mendoza González, Secretary of Education and Social Welfare of Baja California; and Mtra.
